Known for his fun and positive commentary on gaming, Mark Edward Fischbach is better recognized as his alias Markiplier.
He was born on June 28th, 1989, making him 28 years old and is originally from Honolulu Hawaii.
I wonder if all of those colorful Lei’s inspired his colorful hairstyles over the years!
Mark started his YouTube career in Cincinnati, Ohio but now is living the dream out in Los Angeles, California like most big YouTube stars.
As of July of 2017, he hit an astounding 7 billion total views and 18 million subscribers, that’s some serious hustle.
He is in the top 25 most subscribed channels and mostly plays survival and horror games. Mark is a blast to watch and always brings a smile to our face.
Fischbach first started hustling on YouTube back in 2012 under a channel called Markiplier where he uploaded a play through of the horror game Amnesia.
If you haven’t played that before, it’s a must have. Anyways, he also played Dead Space and Penumbra but unfortunately got his AdSense account banned so he made a new channel called MarkiplierGAME.
After moving to LA, him and Jenna Mae appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in September of 2014 which was huge.
Nowadays Mark is venturing off into new business projects and continuing to grow his brand. As an entrepreneur or content creator, we believe he is an awesome person to look up to. Now lets get into the nitty gritty of what gaming gear Markiplier uses.
Markiplier Gaming Setup
Don’t you hate when your gaming and your ears hurt after a while? Well don’t worry about that because the Sennheiser HD 598’s are comfy and offer premium audio quality.
They are great for gaming, listening to music or while you’re watching movies.
The padded leather headband and fabric earpads will feel like you’re wearing clouds on your head.
Talking on Skype, gaming, livestreaming or making videos means you need a good microphone to communicate.
You can hear Markiplier’s great voice so clearly because he uses the NT1KIT from Rode.
They are a very popular brand especially among vloggers since they make mics for all sorts of uses. This model offers great frequency range and a good size that won’t take up much space on your desk.
Markiplier Gaming Chair
If you’re sitting down for a while gaming then you gotta make sure you feel good! Mark likes to use the MARKUS swivel chair which we will have a link to in the near future.
You should be able to order one from Ikea or a similar store. Gaming chairs in general provide you with awesome comfort which makes sitting down for long periods better but also improves performance.
Land those headshots easier and have a better gaming experience with the DeathAdder from Razer.
I’ve used several Razer products in the past(their keyboard at the moment as I type this actually) and I can say they are amazing in terms of quality.
Mark uses the DeathAdder which offers ergonomic shape to fit your hand perfectly, a 10,000 DPI sensor, and over 16.8 customizable color options.
Not only does it improve your gaming performance, it just looks really cool at the same time.

A sleek profile with membrane keys creates a perfect gaming tool.
The small keycaps means like mechanical keyboards, you don’t have to press as hard or long for it to respond. In turn, you get your shots and spells off faster than before.
The one thing I really love about it is that it has a built-in wrist support with that elongated bottom. My keyboard doesn’t have that and it makes me want to pick this one up myself.
Big is always better in terms of a monitor and Markiplier uses the 27″ monitor from AOC.
It has a quick 5ms response time, 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, and a virtually borderless design.
Having a good monitor allows you to see more of the game which means you may see your enemy before they see you. As well, it just makes playing games way more fun!
