FouseyTube Camera, Vlogging Equipment, And BioCarmine Mastropierro
Yousef Erakat is better known as FouseyTube on his famous YouTube channel where he posts pranks and vlogs pretty much on a daily basis. While he has been the center of some controversy in the past, you can’t deny the man has a super positive energy and delivers great content.
He was born on January 22nd, 1990 in Fremont, California. He is of Palestinian heritage and has three older siblings, Ahmad, Mohammad and Noura. After attending San Jose State University to study theatre, Yousef moved to LA so he could pursue his acting career. In the beginnings of his YouTube career, he mainly focused on fitness related videos because he loves working out and staying healthy. Back in 2012, he was listed 3rd on a list of the top 40 inspiring Muslims by MBMuslima Magazine which is a wonderful accomplishment.
In 2015, FouseyTube signed to an agency called Creative Artists Agency that is located in LA. He then went on a five day tour with RomanAtwood who we’ve touched upon in a previous article. They performed in five states in the west coast to test their 30 day tour that was going to happen in the future. This year in 2017, FouseyTube was awarded the YouTube Diamond Play Button for reaching the 10 million subscriber milestone. I think we should all look up to him as a man, content creator, and entrepreneur. Here is a breakdown of FouseyTube’s vlogging equipment, camera and more for aspiring YouTuber’s.
FouseyTube Vlogging Gear
For vlogging, Yousef likes using the G7 X Mark II just like many other big YouTube stars. It’s a lightweight and compact camera that packs a serious punch. It uses a 1″ 20.1 megapixel censor and new DIGIC 7 technology to deliver extremely high quality shots even in poor lighting. You can capture 1080P full HD video with stereo sound and high res images in multiple formats. The 3″ LCD touch panel display make sure you always know what’s in frame too.
To capture high quality audio without all the fuzz and static, you need a nice microphone equipped to your camera. Yousef has used the Rode VideoMic which is another popular choice among vloggers and content creators. It doesn’t take up much space which is nice so you won’t feel bombarded by it. The look is also very professional so others will know you’re a serious videographer.
Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod.
A tripod is a nice accessory to have when you are making videos. You can set it up to capture awesome shots without the camera moving but at the same time can serve as a handle like this one. When you are running around vlogging and getting this moving shots, a tripod like the Manfrotto comes in real handy.
This sums up our breakdown of FouseyTube’s vlogging gear. He doesn’t use a huge setup which is smart because less is more some times.
